The disc brake comprises a calliper (10) astride a disc (16) of radius (R) and a support (12) fixed to the vehicle. The disc rotates in a first direction (A) when the vehicle moves forward and is delimited in the median plane (M) by a circular periphery (P) dividing this plane in internal and external points. A cylinder fixed to the calliper has a piston sliding along a first axis. Guides enabling sliding of the calliper relative to the support during clamping comprise small columns (30,32). One (30), fixed to the support perpendicular to the disc, slides in a first bore in the calliper. The second column (32) is displaced from the first column in the first rotational direction. A first plane (P1) passing through the two axes and a second plane (P2) passing through the first axis and the second support form an angle between 170 deg and 180 deg .
