LINEAR VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE OF STEP MOTOR

The present invention relates to a linear speed accelerating-decelerating control device for a step motor. This device includes a controller receiving a moving distance, computing a ratio of the total moving time with respect to the maximum speed and accelerating time, producing speed data according to the maximum speed if the ratio is smaller than or the same as it, and recomputing the maximum speed by a given expression with the ratio of 2 if the ratio is smaller; a latch; a counter part receiving data from the latch and producing a pulse signal of a given frequency; an oscillating part supplying a pulse signal of a given frequency to the counter part; a motor driver receiving a pulse signal from the counter part and producing a driving signal; and an interface transmitting a signal from the motor driver and counter part and producing the control signal from the control part to the motor driver and counter part.
