PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly bond a skin material to the entire surface of a base plate without leaving the levitation of the skin material though vacuum molding is adapted and generating other trouble. SOLUTION: After vacuum molding treatment is allowed to act on a base plate 2 from the mold surface of a receiving mold 10 by vacuum pressure, a lid frame 11 is applied to the skin material 1 to be combined with the receiving mold 10 to be fixed thereto. The vacuum pressure of the receiving mold 10 is changed over to air pressure and air-pressure forming treatment is applied to the mold surface of the receiving mold 10 and the interior of the lid frame 11 by air pressure balanced on the mold surface side of vent holes to prevent not only the levitation of the skin material 1 but also the generation of the cavity part caused by that a cushion pad enters the vent holes of the base plate 2 by the air pressure on the side of the lid frame 11 on the skin material 1.
