PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely detachable wire reel which is miniature and lightweight and is easily attached and detached and to provide a wire saw using the freely detachable wire reel. SOLUTION: A wire reel 60 is fitted to a spindle 64 connected to a turntable 62 through a cylindrical body 66. The cylindrical body 66 is formed so as to be freely extended and contracted in the circumferential direction. When a ring 76 having extended diameter is fitted to the tip of the spindle 66, the inner circumferential face is pressed by the ring 76 having extended diameter and the diameter of the cylindrical body 66 is extended. The cylindrical body 66 having extended diameter presses the inner circumferential face of the wire reel 60. Thereby, the wire reel 60 is fixed to the spindle 66. |
