PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetically treating device and a magnetic force type snap fastener which enables simply and accurately mounting thereof along with a smaller size and a lighter weight. SOLUTION: A metal pipe 2 having a retaining flange 2b and a a flange Za to be mounted at both ends thereof or a stop device with a bulged retaining part is fitted on to a circular ring 1 made of a permanent magnet with a midhollow cross section having a through hole at the central part thereof and the ring is mounted on a sheet 3x or the like. The assembly acts as magnetically treating device singly. A circular ring with a bent periphery or a circular flange with a bulged protrusion molded bag made of a magnetizing metal as mounted on the sheet 3x by the metal pipe 2 is piled on the circular ring 1 made of the permanent magnet as mounted by the metal pipe 2 facing each other to form a circular ring. This can produce a magnetic force type snap fastener.
