<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head lamp whose light distributing characteristics meet the specifications even in case the up-down width of a lens is small. SOLUTION: A head lamp is equipped with a main light source 3, a light source 4 for side marker lamp, and a reflecting mirror 2 located opposite the light source 4 about the main 3, and at the end of the reflecting mirror 2, an aux. reflecting surface 6 is provided to reflect the light from the side marker light source 4 to the irradiating direction and inclined to the side where the side marker light source is installed. Even where a lens 5 adopted has a small up-down width for coordination with the car design, shortage can be complemented with the reflected light from the aux. reflecting surface 6 so as to meet the given specifications.</p> |
