<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining head superior in the cooling performance of a lens, capable of satisfactorily maintaining the converging performance of the lens for a long time and hardly disturbing the excellent flow of an assist gas. SOLUTION: A first cylinder 10 is provided which extends downward from the lens holder 3 of the main head 1, as is an assist gas rectifying duct 11 which extends upward from the nozzle attaching part of a head case 22. In addition, the upper end part of the assist gas rectifying duct 11 is inserted and arranged in the state where a space is formed over the entire circumference inside the first cylinder and also in the manner of reaching the proximity of the lower face of a lens 4. The assist gas passage 15 is constituted of a first space 12 formed between the head case and the first cylinder, a ring-shaped space 13 formed between the lower end of the first cylinder and the upper end of the assist gas rectifying duct, and a second space 14 formed inside the assist gas rectifying duct.</p> |
