<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form images having no need of sorting out original sheets mixedly including horizontally written sheets and columnarly written sheets by furnishing image processing means for composing image data inputted from inputting means and image data selected by selection means. SOLUTION: Original sheets set on an automatic original sheet feeding device are sent onto an original sheet table glass 101 in turn for executing an image process of reading in the original sheets. Next, the document direction is decided by an image direction decision process with respect to the read in image data. When the completion of original sheet directional setting, a selection process of the synthesized images is implemented next. The synthesized images are stored in storing means, thereby selecting image data suitable for the document direction decided among the stored image data. Then, the direction of the stored image data is decided whether it is suitable for the direction of image data to be synthesized. When reversed, data is read out and composed in order that it can be composed in the direction suitable for the direction of the input image data.</p> |
