PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of an optical signal from a substance except for an object substance by radiating an ultrasonic wave pulse to a measuring object existent area for a specific duration, radiating electromagnetic radiation to the area, detecting and analyzing backward scattering radioactive rays, and measuring a substance characteristic. SOLUTION: A short pulse having a high frequency ultrasonic wave signal is sent into the body 2 from an ultrasonic wave sending machine 10 of a system 1, and the pulse is continued by time decided by the size of a monitoring object area 4. For example, a pulse of about 3μsec is sent in a depth area of about 5mm. A signal having near infrared wave length is radiated to a selecting area 4 from an electromagnetic radiation source 6 of a gate laser source form. Backward scattering radioactive rays derived from the electromagnetic radiation source 6 are detected by an optical detector 8, and these are analyzed, and a characteristic of a substance of the area 4 is analyzed and measured. An optical signal is modulated by this ultrasonic wave pulse, and can be transmitted to the area. Optical signals from an object substance and a nonobjective substance are classified by using this ultrasonic wave pulse, and effects other than an object is reduced.
|
