摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent adsorbability of nitrogen oxide, etc., to hardly receive influence of coexisting gas, and to keep high performance for a long time by incorporating at least one element selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, silicon and aluminum, and an alkali metal element. SOLUTION: Compd. A contg. at least one element selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, silicon and aluminum or oxides thereof and complex oxides thereof, and a complex oxide of a source B of alkali metal elements, or a source C of alkaline earth metal elements with the above described compd. A are used. While compd. of a titanium source and a silicon source under a condition of acidic water soln. or a sol condition at a specified atomic percentage are stirred, ammonia water is dropped thereinto as a neutralizing agent to form a coprecipitate compd contg. titanium and silicon and, after it is filtered and well washed, it is dried and calcined. A water soln. of a starting raw material of the ingredient B is added in the above described ingredient A together with a molding auxiliary and the mixture is mixed and kneaded and, after it is molded by means of an extrusion molding machine, it is dried and calcined to form the objective adsorbent.</p>
