<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper carrying device capable of feeding a paper sheet from an external paper feeding device without providing a conveyance guide plate dedicated to an external paper feeding device. SOLUTION: A first paper carriage passage 21 through which paper sheets fed from paper feed trays 5, 6, 8, and 9 are joined to pattern and conveyed approximately in a vertical direction, and a second paper carriage passage 22 situated downstream of the first paper carriage passage 21 and approximately horizontally guiding the paper sheets toward an image forming part 3 and a fixing part 4 are arranged as a paper carriage passage constituting a paper carrying device. A conveyance guide plate 24 is provided between the first and second paper carriage passages 21 and 22. The carriage guide plate 24 has a function to guide the paper sheet from the external paper feeding device.</p> |
