<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference between the temperatures of the rolled stocks, occurring at the rear end part of a preceding material and the tip part of a succeeding material, and to prevent a defective shape at the tip part of the succeeding material by providing a cooling device on a joining truck in a joining device, controlling speeds at which the cooling device and the joining trick after joining the rolled stock area returned to a joining start position, and cooling the tip part of the succeeding rolled stock after joining. SOLUTION: In a computing element 9, the difference between the temperatures of the rolled stock at the rear end part of the preceding material and the rolled stock at the tip part of the succeeding material, is successively operated in the longitudinal direction of the rolled stock. Next it is judged by the computing element 9 according to an operated result if the difference between the temperature of the rear end part of the preceding material and that of the tip part of the succeeding material, is a specific value or over. When the difference is a specific temperature, it is judged that the joining for the rear end of the preceding material and the tip of the succeeding material has been completed. And, a signal is given in the plate width direction inside the joining truck 2a, for instance, to the cooling device of the rolled stock, which is arranged in a row, and the cooling device is controlled. Consequently, the nozzle of the cooling device is released, fluid is spouted out toward the tip part of the succeeding material, and the cooling of the tip part of the succeeding material is started.</p> |
