The blade assembly is fitted to the wiper arm. The blade (34) is carried by the "H" section holder (38). The cap (26) fits onto the wiper arm, with internal ribs sliding vertically in the top section of the blade holder and its lower edges (30) sliding over the sides of the "H" section. The blade holder and blade are pressed downwards toward the windscreen by the spring (48). Deformable skirts (52) form a seal between the cap and the blade holder.
