FIELD: organic chemistry and technology. SUBSTANCE: parent carbonic hemosorbent is subjected for thermovacuum treatment at 277 <EMI ID=0.513 HE=3 WI=3 TI=CHI> 0.5 C, 10-30 wt.% of tetrafluoroethylene is added, tetrafluoroethylene sorption is carried out at the room temperature up to uniform adsorption and frozen to nitrogen liquid point at the rate 4-6 degrees/min. Then product is irradiated by gamma-radiation source at the dose 5-15 Mrad, frozen out to the room temperature, unreacted monomer is removed and treated additionally with perfluoroolefin taken from the order CF<SB>2</SB>=CF-R where R is perfluoroalkyl. After pressure fall ceasing perfluoroolefin excess is removed at 127 <EMI ID=0.514 HE=3 WI=3 TI=CHI> 1 C. Perfluoropolymeric coating is made on surface of solid porous carbonic hemosorbent that is distributed uniformly on surface of carbonic hemosorbent and bound with the latter chemically. Carbonic hemosorbent modified with perfluoropolymer can be used for hemosorption, lymphosorption, plasma sorption and enterosorption and the modified hemosorbents do not damage blood cells and does not form duct particles.
