<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and detach a male terminal and a female terminal easily and surely in a connection portion of a power cable or the like. SOLUTION: In a cable connection portion formed by inserting a male terminal 1 equipped with an outer periphery protrusion 3 into a female terminal 2 equipped with inner periphery protrusion 5 so as to engage both protrusions 3, 5 with each other, a diameter enlarging jig 11 is externally fitted to the male terminal 1. By setting the angles of the engaging faces of the respective protrusions 3, 5 to the axis to be 90 deg. or more, when both protrusions 3, 5 are engaged, both are surely connected. When the male terminal 1 is extracted from the female terminal 2, it is just required to thrust the diameter enlarging jig 11 into the opening portion of the female terminal 2 so as to spread the same.</p> |
