PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust, mildew, tick, pollen and allergen using an air cleaning unit and make it possible to use it for a long time by regenerating a dust collecting part. SOLUTION: This air cleaning unit comprises an air blowing means 27 provided in a ventilating path 23, a dust collecting means 24 for dust, an incinerating means 25 for burning dust, a decomposing means 26, for decomposing a residual gas or a smell component, which is installed on the downstream side of the dust collecting means 24, a switching means 28 for switching the operations of the incinerating means 25, the decomposing means 26 and the air blowing means 27, and a control means 29 for controlling the switching means 28. Consequently, the dust replenished into the dust collecting means 24 by the incinerating means 25 and the decomposing means 26 is burned and decomposed, so that the replacement and maintenance services of the dust collecting means 24 are no longer required. |
