PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control for excitating to a solenoid when a magnet and the solenoid are moved relatively in the axial direction by controlling excitating/ non-excitating to the solenoid by means of a controller so that the magnet acts against a force received by a wheel side member from the outside. SOLUTION: When a solenoid 20 is excited via a driving circuit, a force suppressing relative movement between an upper case 8, to which a solenoid assembly 21 is fixed, and a piston rod 5, between a vehicle body and a cylinder 4, and between a lower arm is actuated by means of magnetic force of the excited solenoid 20 and magnets 18, 19. In addition, by means of a combination of the magnets 18, 19 and an inner circumference solenoid assembly 23 which is not excited, relative positions between the magnets 18, 19 and the inner circumference solenoid assembly 23, that is, inner circumference solenoids 22, to which the magnets 18, 19 face, in the inner circumference solenoid assembly 23 are detected, so that arrangement of another member such as a vehicle height sensor can be dispensed with. |
