PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the panel which can have its contrast improved and is free of rough on a display by adhering spacers which control a gap to a black part which shields a color filter other than its pixel part from light. SOLUTION: A smooth layer 2 is provided on a substrate 1 where a color filter and a transparent electrode is formed thereupon. After the transparent electrode 3 is etched in specific pattern, an orientation film 4 is formed and an orientation process is performed. Then spacers 7 coated with thermoplastic resin are arranged at the black part which shields the part other than the pixel part 5 and adhered by being heated. On an opposite-side substrate 8, an orientation film 10 is provided on a transparent electrode 9 formed in specific pattern and an orientation process is performed. Those two electrode substrates 1 and 8 are adhered with a seal and liquid crystal 11 is charged inside to manufacture the color liquid crystal display panel. |
