PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiving method and device following a conventional system format and improving secrecy. SOLUTION: The key data 113 of either one of stored master and slave data are read out from an IC card 11 for storing at least two master and slave data divided from prescribed key data and the read data are stored in a storage circuit 13 as key data 14. The broadcasting receiving device 1 reads out the stored key data 14 and residual key data 114 in the IC card 11, combines these two key data and discriminates whether the viewing of the data is to be permitted or not by a central processing unit 15. Since the key data 113, 114 in the IC card 11 are dividedly managed by the card 11 and the receiver 1, the secrecy of the data can easily be improved. |
