PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the pre-ignition by detecting a knocking as the occurrence of a pre-ignition when the knocking is continued over a prescribed period regardless of the suppression of knocking by the control of fuel parameter when the knocking is detected, and reducing the output of the corresponding cylinder. SOLUTION: A pre-ignition(PI) detecting means 51 for inputting knocking information is provided with a knocking detecting means 52 for extracting the vibration frequency component natural to knocking and detecting the generation of knocking every cylinder according to the extracted component. The knocking is suppressed by controlling a fuel parameter to the knocking- generated cylinder, for example, phase lag control of the ignition timing. The PI detecting means 51 is further provided with a PI judging means 55 for detecting that the knocking is continued over a prescribed period regardless of this knocking suppressing control, and according to the detection result, an output control means 52 performs a control for reducing the output to the PI-generated cylinder. |
