<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing erroneous pointing device operation while preventing the move of an input cursor even when an input pad is unexpectedly touched during the input of characters on a keyboard, by moving a mouse cursor to a position so as not to move the input cursor when starting the input on the keyboard, and preventing the input cursor from being moved even when a pointing device is touched during the input. SOLUTION: The position to input a character is designated by the pointing device (step S1). When characters are inputted by the keyboard (step S2), a mouse pointer is automatically moved to a position so as not to move the input cursor with a touch to the input pad (step S3). Thus, even when a user unexpectedly touches the pointing device during the character input (step S4), the input cursor does not move (step S5) and the character input at the target position can be properly continued (step S6).</p> |
