PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a separator without using a solvent by extending a laminated film with a high-melting point resin layer and a low- melting point resin layer at a low temperature under a specific temperature condition, then extending it at a high temperature under a specific temperature condition to make it porous. CONSTITUTION:A laminated film with a high-melting point resin layer and a low-melting point resin layer (with the melting point Tmb deg.C) is extended on one axis in the low-temperature range from -20 deg.C to (Tmb-30) deg.C, then this extended film is extended in the same direction as the above low- temperature extension in the high-temperature range from (Tmb-30) deg.C to (Tmb-2) deg.C to make it porous. The laminated film is made porous by the low- temperature extension and high-temperature extension, no solvent is used in its manufacture, no adverse effect is given to the production site and the earth environment, and a separator for a battery can easily be manufactured. |
