<p>Inhibition of farnesyl transferase, which is an enzyme involved in ras oncogene expression, is effected by compounds of formulas (I), (II), their enantiomers, diastereomers, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, prodrugs and solvates thereof inhibit farnesyl protein transferase which is an enzyme involved in ras oncogene expression.</p> |
