PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To terminate a character message to a specified slave unit by retrieving an extension number corresponding to a caller telephone number from a first storage means and calling the slave unit of the retrieved extension number, when the character message and the caller telephone number are transmitted. SOLUTION: When a call termination from an ISDN network is detected, a control part 211 discriminates whether or not a character message and caller telephone number are included in the call termination signal. When that the character message and the caller telephone number are transmitted is discriminated, the control part 211 refers to a table holding the plural extension numbers corresponding to the caller telephone number in a storage part 210 and acquires the extension number of the slave unit to be called. The control part 211 starts a timer inside the control part 211 and also informs the slave unit of the acquired extension number of the call termination. When the user of the slave unit performs a responding operation within a fixed time after starting the timer, the control part 211 performs a call termination processing in accordance with rules set with the slave unit. |
