PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary power supply for an electric vehicle which enables supply of power from a main power supply to be secured even on occurrence of an emergency including the failure in a DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: Various kinds of electrical machinery and apparatus to be incorporated inside an electric vehicle are classified into loads 13A, 13B of two systems A, B. These loads 13A, 13B are driven by auxiliary power supplies 12A, 12B of each identical system. Also, the output of DC-DC converters 11A, 11B, which converts the high voltage of a main power supply into the low voltage for the auxiliary power supplies 12A, 12B, is branched into two outputs. Then, the outputs via diodes 16A, 16B, rectifying means, are connected to the auxiliary power supplies 12A, 12B respectively of the same system and the outputs via diodes 17A, 17B, the other rectifying means, to the auxiliary power supplies 12B, 12A respectively of the opposite side system. |
