<p>The present invention relates to a novel polyfunctional epoxy resin having two phenolic glycidyl ether groups, one or more of alcoholic glycidyl ether groups and one or more of alcoholic hydroxyl groups in one molecules. The present invention further provides an epoxy resin composition comprising the epoxy resin. The cured product obtained from the epoxy resin composition according to the present invention is excellent in heat resistance, toughness, adhesion property and water proofness, and it is extremely useful for a wide range of application uses such as molding materials, casting materials, laminate materials, coating materials, adhesives and photoresists.</p> |
