TREATMENT OF ORGANIC SEWAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject org. sewage to aerobic biological treatment by a simple treatment means without almost generating excessive sludge. SOLUTION: After org. sewage 5 is subjected to aerobic biological treatment 1, a part 8 of the obtained sludge is subjected to solubilizing treatment 3 to be returned to the aerobic biological treatment process 1. In this treatment method, the solubilizing treatment 3 is performed by the cavitation in a pump 4 and/or piping and a part of the sludge subjected to the solubilizing treatment is pref. returned to the solubilizing treatment process to be again treated and the sludge subjected to the solubilizing treatment can be subjected to aeration treatment by providing a pre-aeration process before it is returned to the aerobic biological treatment process.
