<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method for exhaust gas in an electric furnace, which can remove harmful matter such as dioxin, etc., from exhaust gas without returning dust to the electric furnace, and besides is large in removal percentage, and doe not require the abolition disposal of an adsorber, either. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas produced from an electric furnace 1 is mixed with the combustion gas of a combustor and mixer 5, and is introduced into an exhaust gas cooling tower 8. Here, the exhaust gas cooled by the fine particle of water sprayed by a spray nozzle 9 is cleared of dust with a bag filter 100, and then is discharged from a chimney 11. This system is provided with a charging tower 12 behind the bag filter 10, and it is charged with material coke. The material coke contacts with the exhaust gas within the charging tower 12, and adsorbs dioxin. The material coke which is taken out from bottom after adsorbing dioxin is used as sub material for the electric furnace.</p> |
