<p>A cement production process comprises separating undersize basic raw material component particles and part of the acidic raw material components for use as the grinding feed material and/or separating the oversize acidic raw material component particles for feeding to the kiln cooling zone. A cement production process, using a raw material having a 0.01-80 mu m size fraction to 80.01-2000 mu m size fraction weight ratio of 4 : 1 to 1 : 9, comprises (a) separating the 0.01-60 mu m to 0.01-200 mu m undersize basic raw material component particles, as well as the acidic raw material components with a modulus (in wt.%) of M = CaO + MgO + FeO + 0.31/*Fe3O4//(0.93-1.4)/*SiO2 + 0.94/*Al2O3 + 0.7/*Fe2O3 + 0.7/*0.69/*Fe3O4 of 0.25-1.2 and a melting temperature of /}1300 deg C, in an amount of 3-100 mol % during raw material preparation for use as grinding feed material for cement production and/or for other purposes; and/or (b) separating the 60.01-10000 mu m up to 1000-10000 mu m oversize particles of acidic raw material components with a melting temperature of /}1300 deg C during raw material preparation and for feeding into the kiln cooling zone in an amount of 3-30% of the clinker weight.</p> |
