<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat sensor device of a motor-driven wheelchair which has high durability and reliability by rotatably inserting a seat pipe below a seat into a seat post projecting upward tram a frame, providing a sensor in the lower part of the seat post, covering the sensor with a frame cover to prevent dust from clinging thereto, and enabling the sensor to be mounted without the application of excess forces. SOLUTION: A seat pipe 6 below a seat 2 is rotatably inserted into a seat post 8 projecting upward form a frame 7. The touch piece 14 of a sensor 13 is inserted into a lateral hole 16 in the lower part of the seat post 8 and a tapered piece 15 provided with a cam groove 18 is mounted on the lower end of the seat pipe 6. When the seat 2 faces forward, the touch piece 14 of the sensor 13 fits into the cam groove 18 to enable an electric motor to be driven so as to store the sensor 13 in a frame cover 1.</p> |
