PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily recover a previous state even when a power source switch is turned on/off in a short time by eliminating a battery for backup and preventing internal data from being lost by the exhaustion of the battery. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a timer 9 to be activated when a power source switch 4 is turned off and a data transfer control means 10 for transferring data between a system memory part 2 and a non-volatile storage means 7 and when the power source switch 4 is turned off, the state is maintained as it is before the time-out of the timer 9 but after time-out, the transfer of data from the system memory part 2 to the non-volatile storage means 7 is started. Afterwards, minimum power is supplied. Thus, even when the power source switch 4 is changed from off to on in a short time, the previous state can be speedily recovered. |
