<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakdown of a smoothing capacitor in a state of condensive load and obtain a stable output voltage by adding a simple circuit having a small number of components, in automatic voltage adjusting equipment for an engine generator which is povided with a rectifying circuit connected with an exciter winding, a smoothing capacitor arranged between a positive side and a negative side output terminals of the rectifying circuit, an output voltage detecting means which extracts the generated voltage of an output winding and outputs a DC detected voltage, and a swithching means which can switch conduction and disconnection corresponding to the detected voltage of the output voltage detecting means, and is arranged between other end of a field winding and the negative side DC output terminal of the rectifying circuit. SOLUTION: A charging voltage of a smoothing capacitor 8 is divided by a pair of voltage dividing resistors 32, 33. An output terminal 21 of an output voltage detecting means 9 is forcibly and energized with a negative side DC output terminal 7m of a rectifying circuit 7 by a transistor 34, in accordance with the voltage of the connection point of both the voltage dividing resistors 32, 33 for exceeding a specified voltage.</p> |
