PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means in which opening, transportation and feeding-in of a drum can be carried out altogether in a continuous manner. SOLUTION: There is provided an opening device 1 in which a holding mechanism 2 for holding a drum can D is installed on a vehicle 3 which can run and a cutter 4 is arranged above the holding mechanism 2. The cutter 4 is constituted such that it can be descended down is respect to the holding mechanism 2. The cutter 4 is pushed against a top plate D1 of the drum can D held by the holding mechanism 2 under a relative descending operation of the cutter 4 to open the top plate D1 of the drum can D held by the holding mechanism 2.
