FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method for making continuously cast deformed billets comprises steps of spraying liquid metal in mold, reducing it, calibrating billet surface and continuously drawing it out. Mold has two vertical walls performing reciprocation motion and two walls inclined in their upper portions and performing rotation. Liquid metal is sprayed only along two vertical non-cooled walls. Skin of billet is formed only on surface of two walls inclined in their upper portions. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, possibility of making solid billets of hard-to-form metals and alloys with high-quality surface and inner structure. 2 dwg
