摘要 FIELD: gas separating equipment. SUBSTANCE: gas separator is intended for removing gas from flow of liquid for example from water conduits of water supply system. Gas separator has cylindrical vertical body with outlet hole for gas in its cover. Installed in upper part of body is tangential inlet pipe union for gas-liquid mixture. Installed in lower part of body is pipe union which is intended for outflow of liquid. Secured on internal surface of cover is gas outflow chamber with perforated vertical gas outflow pipe. Arranged inside chamber is float-type shut-off member. Made in side wall of chamber are longitudinal slots. Located on internal surface of chamber is perforated tubular spiral. Gas separator is additionally provided with Venturi nozzle which is installed in tangential pipe union. Hydraulic cylinder located inside gas separator body has piston which can interact with gas-liquid mixture. Double-arm lever mounted on cover of gas separator body has its one arm pivotally connected with hydraulic cylinder rod. Other arm of double-arm lever is connected with spring-biased pusher seated in outflow hole of cover. Due to action of pressure produced by gas-liquid mixture, piston of hydraulic cylinder rises and respectively through rod and lever brings pusher into motion. In result pusher lowers and presses upon float-type shut-off member. In this case, outflow hole opens and gas escapes to atmosphere. Aforesaid embodiment of gas separator makes its operation more efficient due to intensified separation of gas from liquid. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 1 dwg
