PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-price color filter for a reflection type liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof without damaging the function of a positioning marker in the color filter for the reflection type liquid crystal display without a matrix form light-shielding layer. SOLUTION: A transparent substrate 1 is provided with color filter pixels 2 almost on the middle part and markers 3 for positioning on the peripheral part of the transparent substrate, and these markers 3 are formed on a light- reflecting metallic film 7 by using a color photo-sensitive resin 4. And, the transparent substrate 1 is provided with a light-reflecting metallic film 7 thereon, and applied with the color photo-sensitive resin 4 of a let tint, exposure and development are carried out via a photo-mask also used as the markers for positioning, to form the markers 3 are positioning on the color filter pixels 2 and the light-reflecting metallic film, and the color filter pixels 2 of a 2nd tint and thereafter are formed based on the markers 3 for positioning. |
