摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to freely pick up high-intensity short pulse width, low-intensity long pulse width and continuously oscillating laser beam by providing two laser resonators in a laser medium and changing over the oscillation light axes of the laser resonators by using a polarization control element. SOLUTION: A first laser resonator comprises a total reflection mirror 1 and a part reflection mirror 2, and a second laser resonator comprises the total reflection mirror 1 and a total reflection mirror 11. A polarization control mirror 12 is placed on the respective light axes of the total reflection mirror 1 and part reflection mirror 2 of the first laser resonator, and only a P polarization element as a first linear polarization element of a laser beam 3 is transmitted therein and an S polarization element as a second linear polarization element is reflected thereon. Such a mechanism is used to change over to the first or second laser resonator. Thus, laser processing can be conducted efficiently.</p>
