REPAIR METHOD FOR BRANCH PART OF PIPE LINE REPAIR DEVICE, AND REPAIR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the entry of underground water and leakage of waste water by repairing a branch part of a pipe line up to considerably innermost position of a branch pipe. SOLUTION: A substantially T-shaped bag 36 consisting of a basic part 41 and a branch part 42 is arranged on an inner side of a substantially T-shaped repair material 37 consisting of a cylindrical basic part 38 and a cylindrical branch part 39, and the cylindrical branch part 39 and the branch part 42 are turned over so that an outer side becomes an inner side and are stored in the basic part 41. The repair material 37 and the bag 36 are arranged in a branch part of a pipe line in a shrunk condition, and pressure fluid is fed into the bag 36 to bring the cylindrical basic part 38 into pressure-contact with an inner face of a main pipe A of the pipe passage. Next, the branch part 42 and the cylindrical branch part 39 are inserted into a branch pipe B by inverting them so that the inner side becomes the outer side, and then the repair material 37 is hardened. Consequently, since the branch part 42 of the bag 36 and the cylindrical branch part 39 of the repair material 37 are stored in the basic part 41 in a turned over condition to the inner side and fluid enters the branch pipe B from a branch part by turning them over to the outer side by fluid pressure to repair it, a section from the branch part of the pipe passage to an innermost part of the branch pipe B can be repaired by integral repair material 37.
