<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly attain the logical processing of larger amounts of graphics at the time of mask layer combination or the like. SOLUTION: This method comprises a step for combining a first code with left sides AL and BL of trapezoidal graphics A and B whose upper and lower sides are made in parallel with an X axis, and for combining a second code with right sides AR and BR, step for dividing the left sides and right sides by division straight lines D1-D5 expressed by the Y coordinate values of the end points of the left sides and right sides and a cross point E of all the left sides and the right sides, and for generating divided sides AL1-AL3, BL1-BL3, AR1-AR3, and BR1-BR3 having the same codes as those before division, step for detecting and storing the change of the code of the divided side for each divided area F1-F4, step for detecting and sequentially storing the specific divided sides BL1, BR1, BL2, BR2, AL2, BR3, AL3, and AR3 for each divided area, and step for constituting an area surrounded by a pair of adjacent division straight lines forming the divided area, the odd-numbered specific divided sides, and the even-numbered specific divided sides continuing just after the odd-numbered specific divided sides as a new trapezoidal graphic for each divided area.</p> |
