PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data storage method capable of effectively protecting the digital data without easily reading out the stored digital data by a third person, and to provide a computer system using the method. SOLUTION: A dispersion storage control part 1a provided in a computer 1 divides a file X of the digital data into plural files X1, X2, X3 based on prescribed conditions. Then, these plural divided files X1, X2, X3 are distributed into plural storage devices 2, 3, 4 and stored. At this time, the distribution storage control part 1a stores repeatedly e.g. plural files X1, X2, X3 in at least two or more storage devices.
