REPEATER USED FOR NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repeater which is used for a network system and is capable of performing optimum load dispersion with reference matching to an entity. SOLUTION: This repeater is provided with a DNS(domain name system) answering device 120 which receives DNS inquiries from a client terminal 100, server terminals 140a and 140b connected to the terminal 100 through a network and a client side DNS device 110 through the device 110 and path load measuring instruments 130a and 130b which respectively measure the path load of a communication path with the device 110, and the device 120 considers measured results (path load) and performs load dispersion by allocating service requests from the terminal 100 to the terminal 140a or the terminal 140b.
