摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intensively use the light from a surface light source which illuminates wirings and to significantly improve the luminance of a screen without increasing the driving power for the back light by forming an Ag reflection film under, at least, either a gate wiring or a data wiring. SOLUTION: In this device, a gate wiring 1, data wiring, source wiring 3, common wiring 4, reflection film 5, gate insulating film 6, intrinsic semiconductor 7, N-type semiconductor 8, protective film 9, and alignment layer 10 are formed on one surface of a TFT glass substrate 11. A color filter 13, black matrix 14, counter substrate protective film 15 and counter substrate alignment film 16 are formed on one surface of the counter glass substrate. The Ag reflection film 5 is formed under the gate wiring 1 so that the light illuminating the reflection film 5 is reflected and returned to the reflection plate as the structural member of the surface light source and then the light is reused. Thus, the availability of light is increased and the luminance of the screen can significantly be improved without increasing the driving power for the back light.
