RADAR DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a radar sweep image obtained with one radar transceiver on a plurality of display units arranged in different positions, setting the position and the azimuth of each of the display units as the reference. SOLUTION: A radar sweep image which is obtained by a radar transceiver 12 of a ship A and contains zero nautical mile timing, the absolute position and the absolute bow azimuth of the ship A are transmitted to display units 14a, 14b installed on the other ships B, C. The display units 14a, 14b also detect self absolute positions and absolute bow azimuths. Thereby the same radar PPI image as the radar PPI image obtained with the radar transceiver 12 can be displayed on all the display units 14, 14a, 14b, setting the absolute positions and the absolute azimuths of the display units 14, 14a, 14b as the references.
