PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for positioning-fixing of a printed wiring board, where a printed wiring board can be surely prevented from shifting in a horizontal direction or floating or moving in a vertical direction when the wiring board is subjected to a prescribed treatment. SOLUTION: A printed wiring board positioning-fixing device is equipped with a fixing table 20 which is provided with two positioning stepped parts 21 and 22 and where a quadrilateral printed wiring board P is placed, allowing its two sides to butt against the stepped sides 21 and 22, a horizontal positioning member 26 which is possessed of a pressing part 26a that butts against the corner C between the other two sides of the printed wiring board P and provided on the fixing table 20 so as to freely approach or part from the corner C, and a board vertical pressing plate 35 which is provided with a working hole 35a and provided to be movable in a vertical direction so as to enable its undersurface to come into contact with or to separate from the top surface of the printed wiring board P.
