PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor sensors and switching elements comprehensibly by providing means for indicating the fixing positions of sensors through search of ID code when a main control means is connected with means for transmitting/ receiving data to/from the sensors, an indicator and the sensors through a signal line. SOLUTION: A control box 9 comprises a CPU 31, a memory 32 for storing ID codes and ID data, an I/O interface 33, and a bus I/O interface 34 connected as a transmitting/receiving means with a signal line 22 through a switch 39. The control box 9 further comprises a display 37 comprising a liquid crystal display panel, a switch 38 as an input means, e.g. a keyboard or a mouse, and a switch 39 wherein the display 37 and the switch 38 are connected with the I/O interface 33 and arranged on an operating panel. Thermometers TH1, TH2, TH3 are provided with temperature sensors 81-83 connected with the transmitting/receiving means M of a personal computer. According to the arrangement, fixing positions of sensors and switching elements can be indicated automatically.
