<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate clock error correction by obtaining an optimum setting value of a clock error correcting part, automatically setting the optimum setting value and correcting the clock error. SOLUTION: When a desired setting time is set, a clock error correction value is calculated by a microcomputer 1. That is, the time difference between the time shown by the clock device and the setting desired time at the time the desired setting time is set is calculated, the time interval from the time stored in a set time register 10 to the desired setting time is calculated and the calculated time difference is divided by the calculated time. Then, the sign of the division result is reversed and displayed by ppm. The obtained time error correction value is set in a time error correction register 8 by the computer 1 and the content of the set time register 10 is preserved in a previous time setting execution time memory 11 for preparing for next time setting.</p> |
