PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a micro vasco-occlusive for occlusion of small arteries located distally in the vasculature by forming plural fibers inserted/installed in a passage formed in a holding part out of plural fibers having the length longer than the shaft directional length of a holder, and fixing a soft end part to the opposed end parts of the holder. SOLUTION: A holder (a binder) 102 of the vasco-occlusive device 100 has a fiber bundle 104 having the length 108 extending between the most distant both end parts of the holder 102 having one end part inserted/installed in a passage 106 formed in this holder. A flexible tip part 121 is fixed to an end part on the opposite side of the fiber bundle 104 of the holder 102, and this tip part 114 is formed by melting and solidifying fiber in the fiber bundle 104 by imparting heat to the fiber bundle 104. The device 100 does not transmit a radioactive ray, and the holder 102 is formed of metal or an alloy selected from a group composed of stainless steel, gold, tungsten, platinum, palladium, rhodium, rhenium and these alloy. |
