<p>Methods for inhibiting the attachment of microbes to surfaces in aqueous systems are disclosed. Flavanol compounds are added to aqueous systems, such as papermaking and cooling water systems, to inhibit slime formation problems caused by microbial attachment to surfaces.</p> |
