PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide panel earth retaining support having safe and high working efficiency in an earth-retaining support as a panel earth retaining wall for preventing the collapse of a bedrock of an excavated channel excavated for embedding a pipe or the like in the ground. SOLUTION: An earth retaining support 8 includes an inside panel assembly 1 and a pair of outside panels 2. The inside panel assembly 1 is connected to a pair of inside panels 3 with struts 4 making a total of four having two struts each of upper and lower steps. The inside panel assembly 1 is vertically slidable to the outside panels 2. The inside panel assembly 1 and the outside panels 2 are built up before excavation work is carried out, and the earth retaining support 8 is dropped into an excavated channel in an excavation site. Thereafter, when excavation is made from between both inside panels 3, the inside panel 1 is slid downward. The sliding of the inside panel assembly 1 is controlled by wires 7. The outside panels 2 are so hung by hanging devices 6 that they can not drop into the excavated groove. |
