摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation without producing extra by-products with a single extracting chemical by executing treatment with ammonia water and extracting and separating valuable metallic components contained in waste into the ammonia water. SOLUTION: Organic metallic components are composed of one or >= two kinds selected from molybdenum, vanadium and cobalt. Prior to an extracting operation, desirably, a waste catalyst is subjected to heating treatment or cleaning treatment with an organic solvent such as kerosine treatment to remove oil. The concn. of ammonia in the treating soln. for treating waste with ammonia water is preferably controlled to 1 to 5 wt.%. Desirably, the extracting temp. is controlled to 50 to 150 deg.C, and the pressure is controlled to 0.1 to 0.5 MPa. The extracting soln. after the extracting of the valuable metallic components is heated or is subjected to pressure-reducing treatment, by which ammonia is recovered in the form of vapor. The organic metallic components in the waste catalyst can be extracted only with ammonia water, and the ammonia water as an extracting chemical can be recovered by the simple operation.</p>
